Dave Divine began behind the scenes, writing lyrics for others as a ghostwriter while keeping his own name out of the picture. For years, his words lived in other artists’ voices. Eventually, he chose to step forward under his own name, writing songs that carry fragments of his life, memories, thoughts, and experiences.

For Dave, lyrics have always been more than words. He tells stories through them — sometimes directly, sometimes through characters, symbols, and myths. Music shaped him as a person, becoming a way to give the worlds in his mind a form through sound, image, and story.

That instinct naturally led him into the visual world. Dave directs music videos and visualizers and shapes the art direction behind them, creating visual languages that extend beyond the music. What began with his own worlds grew into directing and producing visuals for others, as he realized this was not simply another skill, but another part of what his soul belonged to.
